- REPLACE STANDARD LATCH AND STRIKES – The Defender Security U 10385 door strike is designed to replace the standard, separate latch and deadbolt strike plates with a one-piece combo plate.
- MAXIMUM SECURITY STRIKE – This door strike provides maximum security! It comes with a one-piece combo plate plus six 3 inch long screws for maximum security. These longer screws allow for a strong hold, which helps prevent kick-ins.
- TALLER LATCH AND BOLT OPENINGS – This door strike features slightly taller latch and bolt openings to accommodate door hardware spaced from 5-1/2 inch to 6 inch hole centers.
- EASY INSTALLATION – Installation is quick and easy, and the door strike fastens into jamb and door frame with screws. SomeMortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for a flush install.
- DURABLE, STRONG CONSTRUCTION – Made of stamped steel with a brass finish, this door strike is durable, sure to last the test of time. Measure the center holes for your replacements. These are designed to be used for 5 ½ to 6 inch on center only.

This maximum security combination strike is constructed of stamped steel and it comes plated in a brass plated finish. It features slightly taller latch & bolt openings to accommodate door hardware spaced from 5-1/2 in. to 6 in. from center to center. This security strike is designed to replace the standard (separate) latch and deadbolt strike plates with a one-piece combo plate and up to 5 more screws for maximum security. Installation of this combo strike repairs and strengthens a locked door with six 3 in. long screws that attach to the jack/trimmer stud to help prevent kick-ins. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for flush install.
