- Ideal for a huge range of entertainment, production and industrial uses, Pro Tapes Pro-Gaff Gaffers Tape is a high-strength, vinyl-coated cloth tape providing clean, residue-free removal. Because of this, it's exceptionally well-suited for any application where you need secure adhesion to irregular surfaces and residue-free removal.
- Has a waterproof backing and is abrasion-resistant, so it'll hold up well in demanding environments. Additionally, it offers smooth, controlled unwind and can be cleanly torn by hand.
- Ideal for wire and cable hold down and bundling, temporary holding of light fixtures and sound equipment, marking and labeling equipment cases, labeling audio boards and sound equipment, marking stages and rigging, safety marking on stairs, exits, and sets, labeling in low light environments such as audio booths, dance floor splicing, and more!
- Adhesive: synthetic rubber. Carrier/Backing: vinyl coated cloth. Thickness: 11 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 80 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel)
- Tensile Strength: 50 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: 50?F to 200?F. Elongation: 5%. Core: 3 inch diameter
The ProTapes Pro Gaff white gaffer's tape is 11 mil thick, 2" wide, and 55 yd. long, and is made from matte cloth with a rubber adhesive to conform to irregular surfaces and remove cleanly without residue from most surfaces. The tape, also known as gaffer or gaffers' tape, is printable and suitable for a range of applications including wire and equipment labeling as well as temporary cable hold down and sealing. It resists abrasion and can be torn by hand. The tape can be used outdoors and withstands temperatures from 50 to 200 degrees F. Tensile strength is 45 lb. per inch.
