The Protemp non-contact infrared thermometer has been developed using the latest infrared technology allowing the temporal artery TA temperature to be taken without touching the patient at a distance of 2 inches away from the forehead. Precise instantaneous and without contact the ProTemp is the most suitable thermometer for no risk temperature measurement in a long term facility setting. Studies have demonstrated that this method as TA temperature measurement is more precise than tympanic thermometry and better tolerated than rectal thermometry.Features.
