The Meinl gong/tam-tam stand with reinforced bracing is fully height adjustable and can hold gongs up to 40" In diameter. It is also designed to be able to hold a second gong. If a second gong is desired, The Meinl gong holder (model# TMGS-2-G) is designed specifically to mount on this stand to add a second instrument (please note this mount is sold separately). The maximum sizes for optimum playability With two gongs are a 32" Gong on the top holder and a 40" Gong on the bottom mount. This stand is equipped with extra bracing on the base to accommodate the added weight of a second gong or tam-tam. The sturdy mounting arm features an ergonomic bar with two hook attachments for ultimate balance and control. For more height adjustment, All Meinl gongs/tam-tams come equipped with mounting cords that can easily be tied to lengthen or shorten how far the instrument hangs.
