Although it is instantly recognizable, with its haunting tones and the mythology that surrounds it, on this CD Harry Christophers and The Sixteen explore its evolution and enduring appeal, and shed light on its complicated history. This new version of the Miserere entitled Its Evolution takes the listener on a journey of Discovery, showing how the piece has evolved over the centuries into the version audiences know and love today.
