Quiet Inlet

The ensemble Food has an established reputation on the new improvisation scene. It's core duo of Norwegian drummer Thomas Stronen and Iain Ballamy have been joined each year since 1998 with a shifting cast of guests. Molvaer and Fennesz (guests since 2007) were invited to engage with Food's forward-thinking approach to creating music. They are like-minded users of sound, space and texture to create ever-changing atsmospheres and environments. Each of the four musicians are all well known figures on the experimental, electronic music scene and each bring their own fan base.
