It can be mounted in reverse on the lens for easy storage and portability.(*Note: it’s NOT compatible with Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens, EF 50mm f/1.8 lens, EF 50mm f1.8 II lens and RF 50mm f1.2 L USM Lens.)
Replacement: Replace Canon ES-65B lens hood with a 43mm UV filter.
Professional Design: Non-glare matte finish on the interior surface to further prevent or limit lens flare. No vignetting with the hood on.
Protection: The 43mm Multi-coated filter is crafted from 0.03” thick Japanese optical glass, 12-layers of prevents internal ghosting and reflections while providing over 99.5% light transmission. Blocks UV light and reduces the bluish cast of daylight. As well as a basic protective filter to leave on your lens at all the times.
