When a car is parked on the ramps an additional 2"-3" of ground clearance is created - giving you more room to reach the vehicle's tie-down points. They may give you the clearance to open the car door and clear the wheel well on the trailer, too. As with all Brute Industries products, Trailer-Mates are made with the company's patented super-lightweight 100 percent solid construction technique - making them highly durable, virtually indestructible, and providing a 6,000 pounds vehicle weight capacity. Trailer-Mates' textured coating won't slide on (or scratch) the trailer surface. Trailer-Mates are ideal for vehicles with tires up to 12" wide, and come complete with straps on front sections to allow both easy carrying, and the ability to be hung on a wall.
