One quick twist inside the bolt carrier leaves interior surfaces carbon free.
One twist cleans the inside and outside of the bolt tail as well as the bolt tail shoulder. Then proceed to scrape the bolt waist, between the lugs, the bolt face, and behind the cartridge extractor.
You can also use cartridge extractor scraping point to pull the bolt carrier group cotter pin, which makes breakdown easy.
