How to hand-feed hummingbirds: 1. Wash your new Nectar DOTS and rinse completely. 2. Fill with your favorite nectar. 3. Place the Nectar DOTS near an existing feeder for a day or so. 4. Stand near the existing feeder and hold a Nectar DOT in your hand. 5. WOW! You are now hand-feeding a hummingbird! Nectar Recipe: Mix 1 cup of white sugar with 4 cups of boiling water. Let the nectar cool before using. Extra nectar can be stored in a refrigerator for up to 7 days. Nectar DOTS should be cleaned every 3-4 days or after each hand-feeding.
