BLEND yeast with dry ingredients. ADD very warm liquids (120- 130Â°F) - OR - DISSOLVE yeast and 1â„2 tsp sugar in 1â„4 cup warm liquids (110- 115Â°F). Avoid liquids that are too hot to touch. One packet of Red Star Organic Yeast will raise up to 4 cups (about 1 pound) of flour.
