Very compact and don’t require “big dome” style reflectors. This gives greater flexibility in planning your habitat’s basking areas.
GU10’s smaller size allows them to be used under the cage’s screen mesh common. This allows you to use lower wattage bulbs; better efficiency, economy and effectiveness!
Comes with 2 cable ties (made of heat-stabilized, UV-resistant Nylon 6.6) making it easy to mount underneath your cage's top screen mesh.

Reptile GU10 Halogen Basking Light Assembly with 54" AC cord by Carolina Custom Cages will allow you to use the increasingly popular GU10 halogen basking bulbs. The GU10 Halogen Basking Bulbs are much more compact and don't require "big dome" style reflectors. This gives you much greater flexibility for planning your habitat's basking areas. The ceramic socket securely engages GU10 halogen bulbs (much safer than the tiny pin MR11 types). Their basking heat output is much more focused than traditional basking bulbs and their smaller size allow them to be used under the screen mesh common with many cages. This allows you to use lower wattage bulbs; better efficiency, economy and effectiveness! We offer 20w, 35w, 50w and 75w halogen basking bulbs separately; as well as Reptile Digital IR Surface Thermometers.
