SM07C Another great inspiring collection of original and familiar solo piano melodies from Steven Mitchell. He is clearly one of the top pianists in ballet accompaniment today. Originally made for a video of David Howard's class which never was produced, this music matches David Howard's class perfectly. This CD is a sequel to their first collaboration on the Danceables label, and it contains plenty of melodies for every step in a ballet class. As Steven says "Music Counts!" A special dedication from David Howard: I dedicate this recording to Gay Porter who took me, as a young boy, to the Cone-Ripman Arts Educational School in the 1940's. She started me on my career. I also dedicate this CD to all the dancers at American Ballet Theatre and England's Royal Ballet who are my inspiration.
