Ridgid 14818 NaviTrack Transmitter

Part of RIDGID's NaviTrack cable and pipe locating system, the RIDGID 14818 NaviTrack 10-Watt Line Transmitter is used to trace buried cable, TV lines, phone lines and other metallic lines that can carry an electromagnetic signal. It accurately traces buried utilities by applying an "active" electrical signal with a RIDGID line transmitter. This allows the line€s location to be correctly marked so it can be exposed for repair or avoided during excavation. The underground locator has 5 frequencies to choose from for added versatility, and is capable of applying a signal by direct connection and induction. It comes with two 25-foot coiled connectors, one that you hook onto the utility and the other that you mount onto the included conductive ground rod. Each one is magnetic and clamping with a convenient small file on the end to scrap away rust and paint, enabling a better connection and signal. These specially designed, hybrid copper and stainless steel aircraft grade coiled cables stretch to provide more freedom in choosing grounding points and connections to the line. The conductive ground rod is securely stored on the unit for easy storage when not in use. Designed for reliability and ease of use, it features convenient push button operation, an adjustable shoulder strap and a rugged, lightweight design. The RIDGID line locator requires 8 D-Cell batteries. Compatible with the RIDGID NaviTrack II Locator System and NaviTrack Scout Locator System.
