An electronic resistor is inserted based on the official requirement of ring.com so that there is no need to connect your Ring Video Doorbell Pro to an AC transformer.
You will not lose time reading wiring diagrams, hooking up wires or soldering them in place.
SUPER EASY TO INSTALL
Just wire the black and red wires to the back of Ring Doorbell with screws and plug the power transformer into the nearest outlet.
After a small delay, the round ring on the doorbell lights to indicate the power was connected.
Also, you can use the app on your phone that shows you it is hardwired and not running off battery power.
One other note when installing this to your Ring Doorbell, the wires can be hooked up to either terminal on the Ring Doorbell.
