Description

  • The LD9-TG features UV wavelength technology designed to detect a 5% hydrogen / 95% nitrogen tracer gas mixture, instead of liquid refrigerant, to locate system leaks
  • LD9-TG’s 128 x 160 full color liquid crystal display (LCD) and sweep mode function convey messages, graphics, and prompts to help technicians locate the source of a leak and ensure the leak detector is always at optimal performance
  • Detects leaks as small as 0.05 ounces per year for R-134a and .015 ounces per year for R-1234yf, ensuring even the smallest, hardest to detect leaks can be found and corrected
  • The SAE J2970 compliant LD9-TG is compatible with most hydrogen-based tracer gases (sold separately), offers a robust 10-year sensor life, and utilizes a patented 3 LED inspection light that aids in locating and inspecting suspected leak sources
  • Features/Specs: Sensitivity: Equiv. .05 oz/yr R134a, .015 oz/yr R1234yf; UV Mode: 3 UV LED; UV Wavelength: 395-415 NM; Response Time: Instant; Power Supply: 4 AA Alkaline; Battery Life: 4 hrs continuous.; Warm Up Time: <20s; Probe Length: 17 inches
