Do not smoke even when not wearing the patch. The nicotine in your skin will still be entering your bloodstream for several hours after you take off the patch.
- HOW TO USE: Start using step two on the day you stop smoking or five weeks after step one. Remove the backing from the patch and immediately apply it to dry, clean, and hairless skin. Wash your hands before and after applying the patch. Remove the patch after twenty-four hours and apply a fresh patch to a different skin site at the same time each day.
