Rules of the Catholic Church: A Guide to Rectify the Misconceptions of all the "Rules" of the Catholic Church

The purpose of this book will be to rectify the misconception of all the rules of the Catholic Church. In this book you will see the word “rules” interchanged with the words “guidelines” and “principles”. This is to help better show that surprisingly there are no rules of the Church, but only guidelines and principles of faith that will ensure our eternal salvation in Heaven.



The progression of the book will be to:

• Explain why there are so many rules in the Catholic Church.

• Discuss how we are made of body and soul, and like the body, how the soul also needs nourishment.

• Share how the Sacraments provide this nourishment through Grace.

• Explain how the guidelines of the Church provide the most effective way to receive Grace from God through the Sacraments.

• Discuss the most common misconceptions about the rules relating to the Sacraments and how these are untrue.

• Share a basic explanation of what the most common Sacraments are and how to properly receive them.

• Explain in detail the principles about the big 3: Confession, Communion, and Annulments.

• Explain how the Church maintains these guidelines.
