- PLEASE NOTE: A firm consistency is a normal characteristic of all Saracino pastes. This professional formulation provides superior performance and is preferred by cake artists around the world. Before use, knead thoroughly until the paste becomes smooth, soft, and pliable. If needed, warm the paste with your hands, place it in a warm room for a short time, or heat it in the microwave in 5 to 10 second intervals, kneading between each interval until the desired consistency is achieved. Do not overheat.
