SE Cotter Pin Hairpin Style - HP5M

The SE HP5M Cotter Pin Hairpin Style fastens material together and gives a fast and secure hold for bolts and pins. These hairpin cotters (or “R clips”) are a spring-type cotter made to be reusable and have an asymmetrical bulb and wave on one half of the pin. It is generally meant to be used on a groove with the other half of the pin, which is straight and generally used in through-holes. It is ideal for garage and shop applications and for repairing cars, trucks, tractors, mowing equipment, and more. It is easy to open, with one prong longer than the other. Our cotter pin measures .2" x 4". It is made of zinc plated steel, which offers excellent protection against oxidation and corrosion. It can be used to quickly assemble or disassemble components. The diameter is 5 mm (.2") and the dimensions are 4" long x 1" bulb opening.
