SEOH Potato Dextrose Agar Dehydrated Media 500g

- Final pH: 5.6 ± 0.2 at 25.0°C
- The powder is homogeneous, free flowing and light beige.
- Visually the prepared medium is clear to slightly hazy and pale to light yellow
- Expected cultural response after 5 days at 25-30.0°C.
Potato Dextrose Agar is recommended for the cultivation and isolation of yeasts and molds from dairy and food products. Lowering the pH to 3.5 +/- .1 inhibits bacterial growth and aids in the isolation of fungi.
