This mechanism is applicable to many other brands of CD players and HiFi, as many manufacturers use SF-P101N lasers.
However, please note that there are two versions of the SF-P101N . One has 16 pins on the ribbon connector and the other has 15 pins.
The 16-pin type is provided here as this is the most common type. The 6-pin and 15-pin versions are not interchangeable.
The SF-P101N mounted on this mechanism can be used in many different brands of CD players and HiFi.If your CD player or HiFi comes with an SF-P101N , you can replace the entire mechanism, which will provide a very effective repair because all moving parts in the CD reading mechanism will be replaced.
The model is printed on the housing of the . So if your faulty is printed with SF-P101N, then this is your mechanism. Simply count the number of pins on the connector to verify that there are 16 of them.
