  • FAST CUTTING & ZERO PANEL DISTORTION: The advanced annular cutting geometry allows you to drill 3 times faster than standard twist bits. Engineered for automotive and metal fabrication excellence, our small annular cutter creates perfectly round, burr-free holes without deforming the surrounding metal.
  • APPLICATIONS: This spot weld bit removes spot welds for collision repair, classic car restoration, and race car builds. It safely separates auto panels to salvage underlying sheet metal for reuse and performs clean hole cutting for general fabrication, piping, conduit, and HVAC. Compatible materials: steel plate, aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and plastics.
  • IMPORTANT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: To avoid premature breaking of bits, it is critical to: 1) Always position the spot weld drill bit square to the workpiece; cutting at an angle may cause teeth to shear off. 2) Use a center punch before drilling to create a divot, and position the pilot pin against this divot to prevent the bit from walking. 3) Apply lubricant continuously to maximize lifetime of the bits. 4) Use LOW speed and avoid excessive downward pressure.
  • 4-PACK REPLACEMENT HEADS: Includes four 5/16" cutting diameter bits, packed in a sturdy plastic case, fitting 3/8" corded/cordless hand drills or drill presses. Note that this package includes spot weld drill bits ONLY. The arbor, pilot pins, and center punch are NOT included.
