The hydraulic hose crimper can be used on both beaded and barbed hose fittings. The kit comes with a complete set of dies covering hose sizes #8, #10, #12 and reduced barrier #6, #8, #10 and #12. The dies snap quickly into the press fixture requiring no pins or screws. Kit comes in custom molded.The lightweight hand-held hydraulic hose crimper is very portable and ideal for shop and field applications.

Operating Instructions

1.Remove pin and open top yoke.

2.Select correct die set.

3.Insert the die into joke.

4.Place the fitting and hose in crimper and close top yoke.

5.insert pin securely.

6.Position the hose fitting into the center of the dies.

7.Turn the arbor screw clockwise until the bottom of the yoke ram meets the finish line(approximately 1/8" from the bottom yoke).

8.Check crimp for the correct compression; continue to tighten screw if additional compression is required.

9. Once crimp is complete,turn arbor screw counter clock-wise until it stops.

10. Remove holding pin and open yoke.

11. Remove hose assembly.
