SMCDW02-Z Wireless Door/Window Sensor
- Small form factor for discreet installation
- Easy to mount with dual-sided tape or screws (both included)
- Lithium battery for long life (5 years standard)
- 802.15 ZigBee HA profile compatible
- Tamper switch for added protection
The SMCDW02-Z Door/Window Sensor consists of a magnet that attaches to a door or window and a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 standard wireless sensor that attaches to the adjacent door or window frame. When the magnet is moved away from the sensor, a signal is sent that sets off a notification or alarm to the control panel of the security system. Signals can also be used to activate a chime or convenience lighting depending on the user's preference and security and automation environment. Compatible with Time Warner IntelligentHome, Comporium ReadyHome, Rogers Smart Home, Cox Homelife, and all other iControl-supported home security, monitoring and automation environments. **NOT COMPATIBLE WITH Samsung SMARTTHINGS and NEW Comcast Xfinity systems.
