- SPI sheet metal thickness gauges are crafted to the United States Standard for uncoated sheet metal such as plate iron and steel
- The stamped steel gauge has cutouts from #36 to #0 in size, and is stamped on the opposite side with the decimal inch equivalent of the gauge size
