The lenses help protect the wearer's eyes by filtering out ultraviolet A (UVA) and ultraviolet B (UVB) light with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers (nm). The lenses have an anti-fog coating to help maintain visual clarity in humid conditions, and both the lenses and the frame are made of polycarbonate to resist impact. The wraparound lenses and wide temples help increase side protection, and a built-in nose piece helps create a secure fit.
