Sargent: Watercolors

John Singer Sargent was most famous as a portrait painter of Edwardian and Georgian high society, but many consider his watercolors his greatest achievement. This handsome volume, illustrated entirely with full-page color plates, is devoted exclusively to Sargent's work in watercolor. It has been published in cooperation with The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Brooklyn Museum.
