The new ES1080 Cleancut is the world's first purpose built Personal / Pubic Shaver. The heart of any great shaver design is the foil. Seiko S-Yard tested five different foil designs before producing the final production design. Slot shape, size and placement were tweaked. At the same time, different foil thicknesses and coatings were tried until the right blend of safety, comfort and effectiveness was obtained. The ES1080 Personal Shaver has a new, curved, ergonomically designed shape making it easy to get the shaver into all those "hard to reach" areas. The new ES1080 is rechargeable! Using the 110 volt, UL Listed charger brings the 1080 to full charge in 1 hour. You can also use it with the cord if necessary. An indicator light shows the ES1080 is charging and goes out when fully charged. The new ES1080 is easy to clean. You can rinse out the head under running water...or simply remove the foil and tap the hair and powder out of the receiver. With pubic shaving the preferred shaving technique is dry shaving with a lubricating powder. You will need some baby/body powder, preferably cornstarch based (NOT INCLUDED.) Lightly dust the area to be shaved with the powder and your 1080 will glide over the skin without sticking. Remember, the ES1080 is a SHAVER and will only cut hair of stubble length (like the 5 o'clock shadow of a man's beard, 3/32 inch max.) You'll need a good safe trimmer, at least for your first shave, to get your hair to stubble length. We recommend the Seiko S-Yard PS-335 or PS-334 ¿no nick¿ trimmers, alternately you can use a disposable ¿bikini trimmer¿ like the Noxema Bikini Razor to trim the hair to stubble length.
