In late 2009, a special edition brush was made by Semogue having the best boar bristles possible stuffed densely into a luxurious wooden handle. Only 100 of these successful brushes were made and quickly sold, creating a large demand for a re-edition.
Semogue responded with this new Special Owners Club brush: a fine lathering tool with a luxurious cherry wood handle and the best boar bristles around.
Although the brush can be used with any kind of shaving cream, it truly shines when used with a shave soap -- the stiff bristles create a rich lather in just seconds.
