These paintings are part of the permanent art collection of the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. "Shakespeare's Spring Flowers" features lines from Twelfth Night, As You Like It, The Winter's Tale, Sonnet 21, and The Passionate Pilgrim, surrounding a bouquet of daffodils, rye, and violets. "Shakespeare Summer Flowers" features lines from A Midsummer Night's Dream, King John, Cymbeline, The Winter's Tale, and Romeo and Juliet, surrounding a bouquet of honeysuckle, lavender, lily, marjoram, marigold, mint, savory, and rose. "Shakespeare's Autumn Flowers" features lines from Sonnet 73, The Winter's Tale, The Tempest, King Lear, and Sonnet 16, surrounding a bouquet of carnations, filberts, and yellow leaves.
