As a family-owned and operated business, we have made it our model to only manufacture products we use with our own family. You will notice one major difference between our silicone molds compared to others on the market - no color! While the brightly colored items look pretty, there have been increasing concerns over hidden fillers and colorants, especially when exposed to heat. We don't want to take any chances with the health of our family and by purchasing this product you probably feel the same way. We hope you will enjoy this product as much as we do and feel safe when creating delicious meals and treats. Siliconies bakeware products are made from only 100% pure, food-grade silicone, nothing else! They meet US FDA and European LFGB safety standards and are BPA, PVC & Phthalate FREE. Important notes: Silicone can retain odor from very strong smelling food items. See cleaning instructions to help remove lingering odors. Since we use no colorants due to safety concerns, it is possible for the molds to stain. This will not interfere with the performance and we believe the safety of the food is more important than the appearance of the mold. We hope you will agree. Silicone is often advertised as non-stick and customers are later disappointed when they prepare a food item that does stick to the mold. For the first few uses, we recommend applying oil, cooking spray, or butter to help prevent food from sticking to the mold. You will likely find that this is not needed for future uses although recipes with excess sugar may require additional greasing. Always allow the baked goods to cool prior to removal and push the food out from the bottom of the mold. Siliconies bakeware is safe to use from -40 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 degrees Celsius) to +446 degrees Fahrenheit (+230 degrees Celsius). They can safely be used in the refrigerator, freezer, oven, and microwave.
