First it functions as an external siren for the skylinknet alarm system. When the skylinknet alarm is triggered, this m-series main unit will sound as well as an external siren. Secondly, you can use this m-series as an alarm system with 2 operating modes: alert mode - safety and peace of mind when you're home! get notified of your surroundings. Place your sensors indoor and outdoor and get notified if strangers are around your home or if a door, window or garage door is opened. The alarm system will beep and flash the zone light when a sensor is triggered in the alert mode. Alarm mode - security when you're away! protect your home when you're away and sound the siren (built-in to the main unit) when sensor is activated. Arm your system with the keypad or keychain remote. If an intruder tries to break in, the sensor will be triggered and a loud siren will sound.
