Slip Plate 1 Gallon - High-Performance Graphite Dry Lubricant | Corrosion-Resistant, Non-Stick Coating for Industrial & Home Use
Low-Friction Dry Film Graphite Coating: The SLIP Plate formula uses a very high concentration of fine graphite particles combined with a proprietary binder system to deliver a durable dry film that reduces friction between moving parts. Unlike greases or oils, the dry film does not attract or hold grit, dirt, or debris. The finished film is slick and helps moving surfaces slide more easily, which lowers wear and increases lifespan of components such as conveyor slides, doors, hinges and equipment beds.
Corrosion and Weather-Resistant Performance: Once applied and fully cured, the coating offers hydrophobic protection that repels rain, snow and moisture, helping to prevent rust or corrosion of substrate metal surfaces. Its temperature range—down to –75 °F and up to 450 °F continuous—is suitable for extreme environments, including outdoor, cold-weather, and industrial applications. The film’s weather resistance ensures long-term performance without the typical need to clean and re-apply as often.
Multi-Surface & Multipurpose Use: SLIP Plate is compatible with a wide range of substrates including metal, wood, concrete and many plastics. Whether you’re treating a trailer bed, dump bin, mower deck, conveyor slide or industrial rail, this lubricant offers versatility. Its dry film nature makes it suitable where oil or grease would be undesirable—such as in clean or semi-clean operations, food-adjacent equipment, outdoor machinery, or transport vehicles where contamination must be minimized.
Simplified Maintenance & Extended Equipment Life: Because the dry film doesn’t accumulate dust and grit like traditional lubricants, it reduces the frequency of maintenance and cleaning. Operators and maintenance teams will benefit from fewer interruptions and less component downtime. By reducing sliding wear and corrosion, SLIP Plate helps extend the operational life of the equipment, enhances reliability, and reduces total cost of ownership in heavy-use industrial environments.
Industrial Grade Packaging & Coverage: The one-gallon size makes the product practical for industrial or fleet-use applications. Coverage rates are noted at roughly 200 ft² per gallon (depending on film thickness). Application methods include brush, roller or spray equipment, and typical dry film thicknesses range from 4 to 7 mils. Proper substrate preparation (cleaning, degreasing, removing rust) is essential to achieve full performance, and the product’s shelf life under original seal is about 24 months.
