10mm Stick Aluminum Motor Mount for 28mm and 35mm Brushless Outrunner Motors

This 10mm Stick Aluminum Motor Mount is CNC machined from billet aluminum and very strong. It is designed to fit models using a 10mm stick for mounting motors. It will securely attach to any 10mm stick allowing for a large range of 28mm and 35mm brushless outrunner motors to be used.

The unique design of this mount positions one of the 4 motor screws inside the square tube. This ties in the mount with the actual motor making it very strong and preventing the common bending and breaking of traditional style stick mounts.

The mount will locate the motor shaft and propeller just below the stick. This makes it a great solution for converting DC brushed motor / gear box setups with brushless motors.

Thrust angle washers are included to adjust for proper thrust angle if necessary.

Overall width of mount is 33mm.
Distance from bottom of stick to center of motor shaft is 6mm.
Depth of tube (part that slips over the stick) is 10.7mm

Installation:

1. Attach new motor to aluminum stick mount.
2. Attach mount to 10mm stick with one of 2 options:
   • use 4 self tapping screws (#4 or 3mm) to secure at each mounting hole
   • use 2 screws and 2 nuts (#4 or 3mm) to secure completely through stick on top and side

Notes: To adjust for proper thrust angle simply install the washers between the motor and mount at the proper locations.

Center of Gravity should always be checked and adjusted per the user manual after installation of a new motor.
