It is an astronomical photographic narrow-band filters which only allows ionization sulfate ion pass through.
It can effectively block interference of mercury and sodium lights from man-made lamps and other light.
Then effectively enhance the contrast between target nebula and sky background, ensuring wonderful details of the nebula.
Select Germany Schoot high quality glass, reduce the occurrence of Halo.
You can get better photograph pictures when combined O-III picture with H-Alpha picture, that is called Hubble.

The 1.25 Inch 12nm S-II Filter offers high contrast, allowing good deep-sky astrophotography even from big cities.
In combination with the H-Alpha CCD filter and the O-III CCD filter, impressive pseudo-colour photos are possible.
The filters fits each filter-changer and filter wheel offered from total length with filterthread: 8mm / length without filterthread: 5mm
