Something Here In My Heart: The Complete Recordings 1968-1970 / The Paper Dolls
UK compilation of the Brit girl trio who scored a Top 20 hit in 1968 with the Macaulay/MacLeod song 'Something Here In My Heart (Keeps A Tellin' Me No)'. The Paper Dolls hailed from Northampton and consisted of Susie 'Tiger' Mathis, Pauline 'Spyder' Bennett and Sue 'Copper' Marshall. Adds all of The Paper Dolls' Pye recordings, including their collectable album Paper Dolls House and all their A's and B's and out-takes, including the singles 'My Life (Is In Your Hands)' and 'Someday'. Also boasts, for the first time on CD, the band's two RCA singles, 'My Boyfriend's Back' and 'Remember December' and their B-sides, and lead singer Tiger Sue's subsequent solo singles across the 1970s, considerably expanding the previous and now-deleted compilation on Castle Music. Has the blessing and involvement of Susie Mathis, who has written a foreword for this edition.
