Musician's Portable Studio
The MixPre-10M's musician-focused features allow you to simultaneously record, playback, mix, monitor, layer, and overdub up to 12 tracks, and if you need more, the bounce feature helps free up tracks. Built-in metronome helps keep your performance in time, while premium-quality reverb and vocal air effects add depth to your recordings. When you record music, you will also appreciate the convenience of features such as punch in and out, and ability to locate to cue points.

Sublime Audio Quality
The MixPre-10M features hand-crafted, discrete, Class-A Sound Devices' Kashmir mic preamps. These preamps offer a -130dBV noise floor, analog limiters, and 32-bit A-to-D converters that far surpass those of other recorders/interfaces using simple IC-based preamps.

Multi-channel USB Audio Interface
The MixPre-10M operates as a 12-in/4-out USB audio interface that rivals a stand-alone converter paired with boutique preamps. It also offers the unique ability to record to an SD while simultaneously streaming multiple channels via USB.

I/O and UI Design
The MixPre-10M offers eight balanced XLR/TRS inputs and a 3.5mm Aux/Mic input, along with two TA3 balanced outputs and a 3.5mm stereo output. The 10M also features a capacitive touchscreen with color LCD, transport joystick for record/playback, and two user-programmable shortcuts.

Flexible Powering
The compact MixPre-10M can be powered using detachable sleds for (8) AA batteries or (2) hot-swappable L-type Li-Ions, or via locking 4-pin Hirose connector for either external battery or AC-powering.
