Bi-color LED verifies tester is on and range selected, red LED and beeper indicates voltage is detected. The yellow LED light indicates that the tic tester is in low voltage mode. The non contact voltage tester features a rugged IP67 WATERPROOF and dust tight housing and features a built-in forward and rear facing flashlight for user convenience in dim lighting. With electricity safety is paramount so it features CAT IV rating at 1000V and is UL Listed. This unit is not designed for use with Tamper Resistant (TR) outlets. This unit is built to help electricians have a great indicator of live power. It features a pocket clip for easy access and storage and the low power feature will indicate when the batteries need to be changed. Testing a wire is very easy with this unit.
