Most spearfishing bungees tension the line for storage but do little to absorb the impact of a fish on the run or thrashing resulting in snapped lines and tear outs. The Spearit Mini Speargun Shock Cord is handmade with 3/8" od x 3/16" id latex tubing and a shock absorbing 4 inches of stretch to prevent tearouts and bring a fish on the run to a softer stop. It is specifically designed for shorter hole guns and allows for the use of lighter shooting line to stretch your shorty's range in case you unexpectedly run into the big boy in the flats.
