Then capture your video memories and preserve them by creating a DVD Disc or saving the video as a high resolution MPEG2, AVI, or MP4 iPod/ iPhone movie for your computer, media player, PDA, smart phone or other device.

Any old video tape of any format will eventually give out. The small magnetic particles on the tape itself are slowly realigning themselves.
