A good natured guy, Lieutenant Kawalsky is a highly trained, experienced military officer. He was the original commander of the STARGATE team, until Colonel Jack O'Neil took over. Kawalsky doesn't mind being second in command, and he accepts the colonel without question. Later, the friction between the two intensifies as Kawalsky discovers O'Neil's secret plans - plans that could endager the lives of the entire STARGATE team!
