The Starrett 208 series can seam micrometer has a vernier scale in inch units for taking measurements of the width, height and depth of can seams. The micrometer is made of stainless steel for durability, with a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish, and a knurled sleeve that helps provide a secure grip. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.001” for taking precise outside diameter (OD) measurements.
