Studio 49 Rosewood Alto Diatonic Xylophone
- 16 rosewood bars, overtone tuned to A=440 (the industry standard).
- Diatonic range is from C1 (middle C) to A2, plus F#'s and Bb.
- Includes one pair of Studio 49 medium-hard felt mallets.
- The use of flexible rubber pins to hold the bars on helps prevent bent or broken pins.
Orff-Schulwerk style alto xylophone. The resonator box is made entirely of wood to ensure true resonance and clarity of sound. Studio 49 xylophones are characterized by a very well-balanced, rich sound. With bars on, the widest point is 12.25" (the length of the low C bar).
