Study Guide to Psychiatry: A Companion to the American Psychiatric Publishing Textbook of Psychiatry, Sixth Edition

Study Guide to Psychiatry, Second Edition, includes two separate "examinations" with questions pertaining to each of the 38 chapters in the book. The first is a "pre-test," of 202 questions, that is recommended to be taken prior to reading the textbook, which will help target those areas in which your knowledge is more, or less, extensive. The "post-test" of 522 questions will allow for more thorough testing of knowledge and aid in preparation for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology examination. For each test, questions are followed by an answer guide that references relevant text (including the page number) in the Textbook to allow quick access to needed information. Each answer is accompanied by a discussion that not only addresses the correct response but also explains why other responses are not correct.
