SubstrateSource Anubias congensis is a wonderful aquarium plant due to its tolerance to a wide range of aquarium conditions. This plant can be grown fully submersed under water. We like to use this plant on branching driftwood or anchored to stones. It's broad, bold leaves make it well suited for medium or large aquariums. For optimal growth, tie the plant to wood or rocks. SubstrateSource potted plants are grown in 2-inch slotted or mesh plastic pots. The pots are made out of recycled plastic. Potted plants are grown without soil in rockwool media. The rockwool media allows the plants to grow in a clean, soil-free environment, ready to ship. To prepare your plant for the aquarium, first gently remove the pot and peel away the rockwool media. Tie the Anubias to an anchor (soaked driftwood, stone, or other decoration item. Note: Never release plant species into the wild. Before discarding excess growth, allow the plants to fully dry.
