- Power And Electrical Specifications: Each Sundown Audio ZV6-12 D2 12" subwoofer is rated 3250-Watts RMS / 6500-Watts peak with dual 2-Ohm voice coils and 35mm Xmax. Designed for small ported enclosures with recommended 2.5 cu ft tuned to 32 Hz.
- Motor And Voice Coil Design: Features quad stacked 240mm motor, hyper-extended pole, and 3" black aluminum 8-layer flat wire voice coil on aluminum former. Large aluminum Faraday ring, vented magnetic gap, and high-velocity pole vent support thermal management and linear operation.
- Enclosure And Mounting Specs: Recommended ported enclosure is 2.5 cu ft with 38 sq in port area tuned to 32 Hz. 4th order option: 1.0 cu ft sealed side / 3.0 cu ft ported side with 60 sq in port area and 8" port length. Mounting depth 11.75", cutout 11.09", displacement 0.24 cu ft.
- Install Friendly Box Specs: Optimized for ported enclosures (sealed not recommended). Recommended ported size is 2.5 cu ft with 38 sq in port area tuned to 32 Hz. 4th order option: 1.0 cu ft sealed side / 3.0 cu ft ported side with 60 sq in port area and 8" port length. Mounting depth is 11.75" with 11.09" cutout and 0.24 cu ft displacement.
