Steve Miller made his book publishing debut in 2017 with his outside-the-box fine art photography in Radiographic: X-Ray Photo Inventions, where he high-tech x-rayed everything from pocketbooks to fish in order to produce gorgeous color images. In Surf/Skate, he has expanded the concept: his original artworks are printed onto skate- and surfboards, creating a hip confluence of lifestyle and art. The results are gorgeous moving objects, festooned in the main with art and x-rays, presenting a compelling juxtaposition of nature and the material world.
