- Superior Wear Life vs Tool Steel & HSS: Compared with tool steel or high-speed steel, YG8 tungsten carbide offers significantly higher wear resistance and longer service life, while maintaining better impact reliability than ceramic materials.
- Ideal for Tool Blanks & Wear Parts: Commonly used for rough machining tool blanks, woodworking knife blanks, plastic and rubber cutting tools, wear strips, scraper blades, and industrial repair or fabrication projects.
- Multiple Sizes & Customization Supported: Available in various thicknesses, widths, and lengths. Custom sizes and cutting options are supported for tooling, maintenance, and non-standard industrial needs.
- Machining & Processing Notes: Suitable for wire EDM machining and silver brazing. Not intended for conventional turning or milling. Proper preheating and slow cooling are recommended during brazing.
