Swedish Gooseberry Preserves by Hafi (14.1 ounce)

The very first Hafi products were made in 1938 by Carl Dellgren, who joined with his son and son-in- law to found a cider house. Headquartered in Getinge, Halland County, Sweden, Hafi is run by Carl's great-grandson. Marcus Bjurklint continues the tradition of using fresh, quality ingredients in order to achieve the best tasting jams.

This old-fashioned jam hails from Sweden. Picked from June to August, gooseberries are used in a myriad of Swedish dishes, but because of their high yield in a short season and being naturally high in pectin, these berries are the perfect candidate for making jam. Light on the sugar and heavy on the gooseberries, this jam has a light, slightly sour, slightly sweet green grape flavor. Refreshing and light, this will become a breakfast favorite. Add to yogurt, pancakes, waffles, scones and toast.
